ANOTHER BATCH OF IMMIGRANTS ARRIVES. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON,. Jan. 4. The Shaw Savill a nd A'lbion Company's big liner lonic arrived today from London, bringing 479 passengers, of whom 379 were in thi third class. Among the latter were 51 farmers and farm servants, 18 labourers, 14 engineers, 11 carpenters; and others who follow callings in the whole rango of handicraft. There were ten cases of measles on board, and the patients are being sent to the hospital. Some of the passengers say that distress is verv keen in England, it being exceedingly difficult to obtain emplovment.
