STUAiVGE APATHY OF ADMIRALTY OFFICIALS. CUSTOMS OFFICER SUICIDES. LONDON, Dec. 6. Yarrows explain that they gave the Admiralty twelve days' notice that the turbine torpedo boat Caroline had been sold as a yacht to an American millionaire. The Times says the responsibility must rest with the Admiralty, and *hat the public await an explanation of its remissness. George Deyes, a Customs preventive ollicer, has committed suicide, it is reported that he was censured in connection with the Caroline's escape from the Thames. AGENTS SUMMONED. BELIEVED TO BE LIVING IN FRANCE. (Received Dec. 8, 0.29 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 7. At the instance of the Public Prosecutor Rooko and Sinnot, the negotiators for the purchase of tile Caroline, have been summoned to appear at Bow Street. They are believed to be residing in France.
