Builders' Conference.

The Federal Council of Master Builders ami Contractors of New Zealand will commence its fifth an nual conference in the Borough Chambers to-day at 10 a.m. The sittings are expected to last till fhursday, on the afternoon of which it is proposed to entertain the delegates at a garden party at Mr A likett's residence, Larchmont, Fjteroy. In the evening a dinner will beheld at the Trocudero. On Friday, weather permitting, the visitors will be driven to Urenui. The delegates are Messrs Hutchinson Clark (Auckland), Field (Gisborne) Ward, Beecham (Napier), Bennett, tnompson (Wellington), England ocott, Jacques, secretary (Christchurch), Clayton, Foden (Timaru), tieorgc (president), Torrence, Crawlord (Dunedin), Grogan, Arthur (Wanganui), Irvine, Menli (Invercnrgill), King and Pikett (Taranaki).
