The Radical newspapers pay a tribute to Lord Lansdowne as a peace Minister in a one-uinn Ministry, to whom the nation owes a debt of gratitude. Dealing with the obstruction of the Estimates in the House, Mr Reid said he declined to take the conduct of a few members as a proof that the whole of the Opposition were responsible for 'the obstruction. If, he said, the whole Opposition showed in unmistakeable terms or by their conduct that they were determined to bring about a dissolution he would not be far off.
