The schedule of business presented to tho House shows that during the session 27 selecty committees were set . up, 175 public bills introduced (of which 80 received the Royal assent and 95 were dropped or otherwise disposed of), 5 private bills received the Royal assent, 957 petitions were presented, 778 questions usked of Ministers, 290 papers laid upon tho tabic, and 474 reports received from select committees. The House Bat on 82 days, the average sitting being 8 hours 21 minutes,
