Fatal Tram Accident.

(P«r Press Association.) CHRIST/CHURCH, Nov. 0. A tram accident occurred on the Sumner line lost evening ending in the doath of William Henry Marley Bergh, aged utout 30, a son of the late E. Bergh, of Ashby, Bergh and Company. The deceased left the Lancaster. Park Hotel shortly before eleven, being then sober, and some minutes later boarded a tram for Sumner, near the hotel. lie was stranding on the platform talking to a friend, and stepped backward, evidently intending to lean against the door of the car. He stepped oil the platform omd fell under the wheels, the top of his head being cut oft. Death was instantaneous.
