. According to a telegram from the Tribuna correspondent wt Florence, the philosopher's stone has at last been discovered. The telegram, which is printed with all reserve, contains: all tine particulars of the wonderful stone, which, besides being of the colour of gold, possesses the properties of that metal, as well as those of radium. The same authority announces that Signor Fabiani, junior, the discovorer, sold the stone to a syndicate in which the Koths'childs share with a Belgian company, for 6,000,000 francs (£240,000), to be paid partly at once, partly in shares, 'and partly during the next six years.
