A VACILLATING MEMBER'S VIEWS. MAY ASSIST REID CABINET. MELBOURNE, Oct. 7. Mr Cameron, whose vote was In doubt, has- expressed the Intention to support the Government. He denounced the base ingratitude of the Labour Party to Mr Daakin, and then spoke strongly iag>ainst Mr Roid, afterwards explaining that ij a general election took place Labour, being organised, would sweep the polls. He would therefore give his vote so as to gave the other side a chance to prepare for a fair fight when it took place. This decision is expected to givo Mr Reid a majority of two, the same as when he took office.
On Air Watson speaking on the sij tuation created by Mr Cameron's del elaration, ho said it was by the action of a man who publicly spurned it that the. Government w u s to be granted a reprieve. Mr Cameron was determined to prevont the voice of the people of Australia finding expression in opposition to t:he present Government.
