The engine of the New Milford exT'ss for I'addingtcn jumped the metals when approaching Loughor bridge. Three carriages were completely wrecked, ami two others fell over in embankment into a field, while a third lodged across the rails of the down line. '1 he driver and fireman, and a Nonconformist minister named Vallard and another passenger were killed, and twenty-five persons injured, some of them severely.
