CELEBRATING THE EXPLORERS RETURN. BANQUET AT PORTSMOUTH. (Received September 14, 11 p.m.) LONDON, September 14. A great banquet was held to celebrate the return of live Discovery to Portsmouth. Captain Scott was accorded an ovation. He stated thut it would take three years to wark out tho scicm'.iiic results of the expedition, and expressed regret that the reliel ships were not represented at tho banquet.
