Mr E. Tregear, Secretary for Labour, is confined to Ms house with an attack of bronchitis.
Lord Plunket has been invited to lay the foundation stone of the Inveroargill Town Hall next November.
The resignation is gazetted of Mr Reginald Theodore Hell as a grader under the Flax Grading and Export Act.
