Arbitration Court. (Per Presi AssoclaUon.) INVERCARGILL, September 5. At tho Arbitration Court this afternoon I). U, Jonps and Co but . chers, were charged With paying less than the award wage to Henderson; an experienced man from the country Who was paid £2 a week and meat, with a proviso that he should be taught the small goods work and to run an ongine. On one occasion Henderson was placed iu charge of the shop, and tho union claimed that ho should have bean paid £2 10s all through. The Court made no order for payment of back wages, but a fine of £2 was inflicted for a breach of the award. For breaches of the typographical agreement E. Y, Macpherson (Wyndhom 1 armor) was fined £2 for paying less than the award wage to a man, but no order was made fot payment of the dinerenco, the court being of opinion that the man wus getting nil ho was worth. W J Marsh (Wyndhum Herald'), for short paying a lad, was lined £1 and ordered to pay back wages
