SEARCHING FOR THE VOLUN- ! TEER CRUISERS. BRITISH WARSHIPS ENGAGED. LONDON, August 30. The British Admiralty announces that at Russia's request seven liri-ti-h warships have started to convey the Russian Government's urgent message to the Smolensk and Saint Petersburg. The cruisers Crescent, Forte, and Pearl left Seychelles on Friday ,steamng south. The cruiser linrrosa, between Walfisch and Simmons Hays, and the cruisers St. George, Brilliant and others are searching in the vicinity of Cape Verde, in the event of the Russian cruisers proceeding north.
