Moils for Fiji, Karatouga and Tahiti, also Penrhyn and Iviuo, close ut Auckland on September. 6th. FANNING ISLAND MAILS.. Arrangements have been made for the Vancouver mail steamers to call at Fanning Island. The lirst despatch will be by the Moana from Sydney on October 81st, and subsequent despatches once in every eight Weeks until further, notice. There may also be occasional opportunities lor the despatch of mails by the Papific Board's cable steamer Iris from Auckland, F. D. HOLDSWORTH, Chief Postmaster.
