The Legislative Council this afternoon haid only a few items of formal business to transact, and the iiouse spent the whole afternoon in considering local bills. The second reading of the Stratford Hospital I'lstrfct Bill was agreed to on the voices.
During the evening sitting the School Attendance Bill and Police Offences Act Amendment Bill passed their final stages, an!d the Administration Act Amendment Bill, Evidence Bill, and Law Amendment Bill i were read a second time.
