CORNWALL'S MAXDOLIN AM) (ICITAK CLUB CONCERT.
The programme for the Cornwall Mandolin, Iltinjo and Uuitar Club's concert which is to he given in aid of funds for building-an annexe at the hospital for the treatment of consumptives promises t 0 be one of the finest that has .vet boon submitted to a New Plymouth audience. Those who have patronised the child's concerts in the past know well the musical treat in store for July 21st. The memlx.-1-s of the club are working hard at some new und choico selections, as also are the members of the banjo band. Among the many items selected are some humorous quartettes and a laughing trio. Another choice selection will be a Valse Brilliante'do Concert, for mandolin and guitar, which is to bo be played by the Cornwall Family. A splendid item .promised is a Beethoven trio, for two violins and a viola, and a Mendelssohn Sonata for violin and piano. With numbers such as these on the programme the clutfs generous efforts on behalf of so worthy an object should be responded to b» a crowded house.
