CANCER RESEARCH.
AN IMPERIAL FUND. (Received July 10, 51.38 a.m.) LONDON, July 0. The Cancer Research Committee reports that cancer pervades all clae*ts of vertebrates, including fishes, but it is not infectious and not transmissible from one species to another, it is also doubtful if the disease is increasing. The Prince of Wales has appealed .'or increasing pecuniary support to iacilitate cancer research, and King Edward lias permitted the fund to uo described as Imperial.
