THE POSITION IN TASMANIA. lIOBAHT, July 7. Tho Administrator of the Government has refused the Premier's request for a dissolution, and the Premier thereupon resigned. Mr Evans, Leader of the Opposition, was sent for, and given till Saluiday to form a Ministry. THE QUEENSLAND CRISIS. BRISBANE, July 7. Sir Arthur Rutledge has informed tho Governor that he is unable to form a Ministry. The Governor has sent for Mr Mor.^rtti. (Received July 8, 1 n -m.) BRISBANE, July 7. After Sir Arthur Rutledge's announcement in the Assembly that ho had surrendered his commission to form a Ministry, Mr Morgian waited un tho Governor and tendered tho same advice ho gave Un dayß ago. The Governor desired time to consider the matter. The House then adjourned. It is understood that Mr Morgan advised a dissolution. Tho Governor will give his decision to-morrow. SOUTH AUSTRALIA, (Received July 8, 1 a.m.) ADELAIDE, July 7. Parliament has opened. The Governor's speech was colourless, no startling legislation being foreshadowed.
