The commander of a Dutch expedition in North Aoin, Sumatra, telegraphs that ho attacked tire natives .n their stronghold at Lidat, and that 432 of the enemy were killed, including 124 women and 'BB children, while 54 of the enemy were wounded and 17 taken prisoners. The Dutch commander and 15 men were wounded. > Tho troops next attacked Langatbars, when 054 of the enemy were killed, including 87 women and 130 children, and 49 were wounded and 28 captured. Three Dutch and six coolies were wounded.
