A Maori Woman's Death.

PHOSPHORUS POISONING. (Per Press Association.) GLSBORNE, July 7. A native woman at Tokoniuru was found dead with a cup containing diluted match heuds beside her. The magistrate ordered a post mortem, which the natives obstructed until told plainly that the law would have to be carried out, by force if necessary. The jury returned «. verdict of death by poisoning, but there is no evidence to show how administered. They expressed their disapproval of tho conduct of the natives.
