ADVANCE ON LHASSA.
FORWARD MOVEMENT ORDERED. ■ LONDON, Junti 21. Jn the House of Commons the Right Hon. W. St. John Brodrick (Secretary of State for India) announced that an advance on Lhassa had been ordered for the 25th. A nugotiiator hail been sent to the | British camp mouiiwhile, with a Shinese Ambon. Great Britain throughout had informed Russia of the Government's general intentions and policy. AN AMBUSH. BOMBAY, June 21. A party of Sikhs is reported to have ambushed a Thibetan force, killing twenty-one men.
