A Charge Dismissed.
(Per Press Association.) THAMES, Juno 10. The charge of attempted rapo. In connection with which a Maori woman porformed the remarkable feat of endurance previously telegraphed, fell through. The woman detailed the alleged offence but ovidenco was culled to prove that tho man , was miles away, digging gum. Tho cn.se was dismissed, the judge commenting, on the remarkable and contradictory nature of the evidence.
