Mr fj. Burgess, builder, is leaving -Stratford after iifteeu years' residence there*. Stratford Post ltumour slates that Mr Allsworth is starting a pal"'r in the King Country. H is stated that Mr tleorge Fisher, M.H.R., is at present in Jlunedin, and that his health is far from satisfactory. II. S. I',riant, member of the Egmont County Council, intends tendering his resignation, ns he will shortly lie leaving the-district.
