Omata Road Board.
The Board met on Saturday. Present : Messrs A. George (chairman), W. P. Bishop, C. Riley, and R. C. Clemow. ihe clerk was instructed to write to the Valuation Department pointing out several errors and omissions in the valuation roll. It was resolved that ratepayers in arrears should be given a week's notice for payment, proceedings to follow. Notice was given to move at next meeting that it is the Board's intention to strike and levy a rate of a farthing in the £. Accounts amounting to £24 8s 3d were passed for payment, and the board adjourned.
