THE ASSOCIATION UAME. A meeting was held in Messrs S. Clark and Co.'s rooms la-st evening. The following wore present Messrs W, W. Murton, A. Humphries, L. Frost, S, P. CJlyne.s, A. Pope uiul S. Clnrk. It was decide*! to form a Taranaki Association Football Union, Mr S. Clark being elected secretary for this- season. It was decided that the challenge cup presented' to the union by Mr 11. Julian be played for by clut> r s having paid 5s to the union as an alliliation fee. The following clubs have decided to enter teams Tukapa, Star, Curring ton lioad, Oiuata, and New I'lyirouth'. 'l'lie union has elected to play under the New Zealand Association rules. The first cup matches will start on Phursday, dune 2:ird. The following teams were drawn to play Star V. Tukapa to be played oil the Star ground ; Omafa v. New Plymouth, at Oniata. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to Mr H. .Julian for his kindness in presenting the lmion w , Rh a cup The executive of the Taranaki Union has decided that the match Star 7;.
