(Per Press Association.) TIMARU, June 10. In the Supreme Court in the charge of manslaughter against J. C. Musters, first officer of the Waipara, for causing the death of the boatswain (Jas. Turner) i„ p„rt at Tim a ru, the jury returned a verdict of not guilty. J. H. Gardner, owner of a sheep •accommodation paddock, was acquitted on a charge of stealing a sheep left behind' by a drover. J. H. Wakefield, an old offender was sentenced to one year for forgery atl d uttering and false pretences. Jas. Stapleton, another old offender, got two years for rol.(> C ry from tho person.
