METHODIST CONFERENCE. MELBOURNE, June 9. The Methodist Conference resolved that, if practicable, before union with the Presbyterians is consummated, a scheme be devised for giving students for the ministry of the respective churches united theological university training. A motion byRev. Lawry (New Zealand.) to allow laymen to take part in the final stationing of ministers was remitted to the 1907 conference.
