Nelson Harbour.

(Per Press Association.) NELSON, June 6. At the meeting of tho Nelson Harbour Board communications were read from tho engineer, Mr Williaml- - enclosing correspondence from the Engincer-in-Chief declining to function a proposlal to make a sli'ght deviation in the south mole of the harbour works. It was decided to continue ns the board had been doing, carrying out the original plans; '»Vit the prcbuibilily is the channel will not be so wide as originally intended. It will, however, be opened much earlier, probably while other construction works are proceeding.
