SHOOTING SEASON, 1904. (From Ist May to 319t July.) THE Shooting Season for Native Game (excepting native pigeon, kaka, pukcko, wio. or blue duck, tui, huia, white heron, and crested grebe) and Imported Game in the district, consisting of the Counties of Taranaki, Clifton, and Egmont (excepting the Mount Egmont Forest Reserve, Kaltake Ranges, being sections 168 and 170, in the Oakura District, and Paraninihi or White Cliffs Reservation) wiM commence on the Ist May and end-on 31st July, both days inclusive. In the Mount Egmont Forest Reserve, being the area within the circumference of a circle having a radius of six miles from the summit of Mount Egmont, the shooting of Native and Imported Game is strictly prohibited at all times.
