THE CHIEF BECOMING INSOLENT. LONDON, May 31. Raisuli, the notorious bandit chief in Tangiers, threatens to murder Perdicaris and Vnrlev, an American and his son-in-law, captured some time since, unless they are ransomed. Colonel Hay, United States Secretary of State, is inclined to ask for French and British intervention. FRANCE INTERVENING. (Received June 1, 10.48 p.m.) LONDON, June 1. At Colonel Hay's request, France is endeavouring to secure the release of Mr Perdicaris.
