Trade with Canada.
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 3. With reference to direct trade with Canada, Mr 1). Nathan, of Wellington, has received a letter from a brother who recently toured Canada to the effect that some Now Zeuland butter goes there now, "but they could,"says Mr Nathan, "do with a great deal more, especially tinned butter, which would be consumed locally and also go up to Alaska." The difficulty, of course, is to get reasonable freights ami direct communication, and he states that a responsible Canadian statesman recently declared; that the Canadian -Government would be quite meet tha Zealand fiovyr^
