NE(V PLYMOUTH, WEDNESDAY JUNE 1, 1904, ' (Before Mr T. Hutchison, S.M.) William Sartjn was chargod with laving, supplied ■'J. M, Douglas with liquor on May 21st, knowing the later to be a prohibited person. Accused pleaded guilty, and had nothing to say. Constable Deattie, who conducted ho case, said that Constable Hcßao lad caught Sarten in the net. Aroused had been fined £lO in 1901 for i similar offence. A fine of £5 and 7s costs, in doauit one month's imprisonment, was nflictod. J. M. Douglas, who did not appear, was then charged with having ntluced Sarten 'to procure liquor for him, a prohibited person. Constable Mcßae gave evidence ' hat ho had scon the two men talk'ng, and Sarten went away. On reluming lie gavo Douglas a bottle of 'leer. Several civil actions were adjourned. Tho Court rose.
