COOL BANK ROBBERS.
A BUSINESS-LIKE PERFORMANCE. (Received May 17, 6.1 p.m.) MELBOURNE, May 17. An unusual story of an audacious robbery conies from Boxhill, Three masked men entered the local branch of the British and Scottish Bank, bound and gaggodi the ionly clerk on the premises. blew open tho safe, and secured £I7OO in cash. They then (jot out a bug'iry bolonging to tho manager, and driving away mudo good their escape. (Ileceived May 17, 10.43 p.m.) MELBOURNE, May 17. The robbers secured £BOO in gold, £4OO in silver, ajid the rest in notes. The chirk (Scpeli) was tied up for a couple of hours, while the robbers were occupied for an hour and a half in getting the booty. They brought a number of railway carriago cushions from tho station opposite, in order to deadon the sound of the explosion. Eventually Sepell, with great difficulty, got one hand free, released himself, and gave the alarm.
