Land Sale.

A sale of sections in the township of Whangamomana was held in the Courthouse at Stratford yesterday, There was not a large attendance of buyers, and in no instance did the purchase money exceed the upset price. The first section submitted was No. 45, purchased by the Whangnmomona dairy factory, at the upset price of £45. Section 31 was knocked down at the upset price of £l2 10s to the Presbyterian Church Board of New Zeaiand, section 15, F. Calgher, upset price £4O, section 41, upset price £7, and section 40, F. Calgher, upset price £9. Sections ;)2 und 33 were purchased at the upset price of £l2 10s each for the Roman Catholic Church. Out of the 2a sections submitted only eight were disposed of.—Ppst.
