A Missing Seaman.

(Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, May 13. When the case ot Maurice Walters, under remand and on bail on a charge of deserting from the 11.M S Mohawk, was called on this week Walters did not appear and his bail was estreated, a statment being made that he had left a letter indicating his intention of taking his life. To-day a coat was found at Ocean "each, containing letters and papers belonging to Walters. The police are somewhat sceptical about his having committed suicide.
