A ItF-VLTHY CONDITION. MELBOURNE, May 9. • - The Hon. T. Bent, (Premier) has announced that the State Government has now a credit of half a trillion. It was nol intended to increase taxes, but it was proposed to reduce the income tax. Nothing would be left undone to open I fresh markets for produce. His policy on tho liquor question was .good drink and good houses respectably conducted.
