Egmont Road Board.

The ordinary monthly meeting of the Egmont Road Board was held on Saturday. Present : Messrs .1. Rowe (chairman), W. Hale, Solway, Buckthought and Martin. As the new board was to meet on May 11 the consideration of the bulk of the correspondence was held over until then.

On the motion of Messrs llnle and Buckthougfit, it was decided that Messrs Howe, Solway und Iluck.thought wait upon Messrs Weston and Weston with regard to Mr Pitt's claim for £lO for a horse which was killed by falling into one of the hoard's gravel pits. Accounts amounting to £lO4 10s were passed for payment, and the board adjourned.
