The assailant entered the houy at a line hour by a door which had been left open for (he woman's husUand. who was e lived on the iiighl shift a! the freezing works. The man entered Mrs Deck's room, and on being ordered off the premises struck Iter a savage blow in the face. The- woman fell heavily to Hie floor and 'broke her arm The man ninde off and the police are now scouring the country lor him.
