(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, April 21. The Minister for Agriculture says it will take seventy-live years before the colony's timber resources are exhausted. The Government is pursuing u vigorous policy in regard to tree planting, and it is anticipated thru about live million young trees will be available this year from State nurseries for plantations, an increase of two million over the previous year. The planting done by prison labour -has proved a very successful experiment, particularly at

Wai-o-tapu, so much so that it is intended to double the number of prisoners on the State nurseries so as to get still better results. Extensive tree planting is to be done at Hanmcr among other places this year.
