Pretty drosses, picturesque scenery, hrigtht and tuneful music, with catchy airs and entertaining ballets, are introduced in the perforinl- - of the brilliant musical comedy, " The (Jniety Girl," which will sta&'ed at the Theatre lloval tomorrow oveivlrog l , when Mr George Abbott's musical comedy combination inaugurate their season in Now Plymouth. Some of the members of tho company are well-known here, Mr Fred .11. Graham and Miss Celia Mavis. Of tho newcomers Miss Nellie IHlit, lire l.Vly, is said to bo an exceedingly clever and charming actress, and Miss Sydney Grainger, who is a recent arrival from homl'on, comes with a reputu't ion. 11 err Gustavo SlapolTski, who is responsible -for the orchestral and choral work, will he remembered as having visiied New Zealand some time back in connection with Mr George Musgrove's grand opera company. The second production of the company will be the charming 1 musical farce "Tn Town," which will be presented on Wednesday night.
