ROSINA RUCKArAXN CONCERT. Judging from the reports to hand ol English and Continental successes achieved by n lis talented vocalist, Miss Rosiiiii lliickmann, during 1,,.,''•wit tours, those who ant icipute good things from this artist, at her lorthcomiiig concert at the Theatre Royal on Weihiusduy next, will not he disappointed. A prominent critic says :—"Miss lltickmann, a soprano who is described ns a New Zealander, nnd who is known to be a great favourite in London, made her first appearance in the Itirmiiiuham Town I bill lust night. She is an artist of g, V at natural gifts and sound training, h,. r voice being of lovely quality, and her items were pronounced an unqualilind success." Aliss liiicknumn will be supporici'l'by a lirsl-class company, including the well-known baritone. Air Hamilton Hodges, who made such a marked impression at the musical festival last year at Wellington, delighfui"his audiences with his cultured voice and artistic style. Alons. E. Willie moff, the eminent, violinist, will make his re-appearance in this district, with this company. There are undoubtedly many who have very pleasing memories of this nrtist, who will be heard in some of the most select items of the great composers. Aliss Clarice (mezzo soprano) is staled to possess a sweet voice, her enunciation being pronounced excellent. Arrs Ernest Queree, an Auckland accomplished pianist, will play several selected solos during the programme.
