FRANCE AND BRITAIN.

Renter's Agency reports that Britain and France have settled on a principle governing outstanding colonial and other questions, and that an agreement will be sign, c! in a few days. (Received March IS. 0.21) am) LONDON. March 17 With reference to the reported .settlement of outstanding AngloFrench colonial untl other questions it is understood in London that trance admits that ltritain is the protecting Power in Egypt, and Britain admits France's paramount interests in Morocco ; but the Moorish ports are not included in the arrangement. A French Senator assured the London Times' Paris correspondent that it was the Anglo-French treaty of arbitration which made the rapprochement popular in in France.
