A Dunedin Loan.

(Per Press Association), DUNEDJN, March 16.

Tenders were opened to-day for the Drainage Board loan of £6U,000, being the second issue of the loan of £200,000, bearing interest at 4J per cent, with a currency of 20 years. The amount offered was £87,.j00. One applicant tendered for £4OO at a premium of Is (id. another for £2UO at 2s 6d premium, another £2OO at 2s Ud premium, and others tendered for amounts varying from £r,UO to £blioo at pan. One insurance company tendered for the whole loan at par. An allotment in full was made to those ottering a premium, und the remainder was allotted proportionately.
