NEW ZEALAND TEAM FOR ENGLAND. The executive of the New Zeuluiwi Rugby Union on Monday discussed the financial aspect ol' the proposed tour to England next year. The cost of tile three months' playing tour was estimated at £SOOO and to establish the nucleus of a fund it was proposed that thu New Zealand Union should find £;!l)00 and the unions in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and llunedin £IOO each, and that an endeavour lie made to raise a further £l.r>o each by means of debentures. The smaller' unions are to lie asked to take up £lO worth of debentures each and find an additional £lO each by means of debentures. These proposals were adopted and will be submitted lo the various unions for conliriuntion. The Insurance scheme introduced by the Wellington Hughy Union last year has a credit 'balance of £:10 after all last year's claims on the fund have been settled. The Rugby Union ns a whole is In a satisfactory position, and it is estimated that a credit balance of about £l5O will be reported to the annual meeting' ot delegates.
