(Per I'ress Association.) AUCKLAND, March 0. At Saturday's Wesleynn Conference ltov. Leonard Isitt sent In his resignation from the ministry, hi» object being to devote bin attention to Umpcranco work. The eunl'iTwieo unanimously declined to accept tho resignation, and recommended that Mr Isitt'a name be allowed to remain on the conference minutes, leaving him free to pursue tho work in which he is no energetic and succusuful. On an application from a Christchurch (Durham-street) circuit that tho Durham-street South Mission tie made a separate circuit a somewhat, spirited discussion urouo. The principle of separating missions from oihet circuits was discussed, a number of speakers contending that missionors should have a free bund to work out the destinies of their mission, thin being necessary to their success, which generally depended upon the missioner.
