A CITY IN TWIN'S. NEW YORK, Feb. 8. The fire which broke out in the city o( Baltimore covered an area a mile long and a quarter of a mile broad. Among the buildings burned were the Custom house, theatres, banks, many hotels and stores, and all the newspaper offices. There was ail insufficient mim)>er of hydrants to deal with the names, which, sweeping the streets, in •their fury resembled a magnificent tidal wave two hundred foet high.
