Air C. Sims, who recently suffered injury to his eye in an accident in Opmiuke is at present in Wellington hospital, and it ia feared lie will lose the sight of Moth eyes. Miss Ada M. Powell, who lakes up her duties at the West Ki.d School on Monday morning has 1-eejj teaching for two and .n-iialf years in Midhirst and has done excellent work there during that time, her classes beirifj; favourably commented on Jjy the inspector at the annual ex-uminutioiiH.
