Letters from England recently indicated that Mr John Prouse, the eminent baritone vocalist, and Mrs Prouso, of Wellington, had takeiu up their residence permanently in London. The Evening Post now stales that this Is incorre-t, and that Mr Prouso will probably return about March next. Sergvant-Major Seinidersooi proceeds to Wellington to-day. He will probably act as one of the juidigies at tile forthcoming military tournament at l'ct one, an New Year's Day. Mr Claiude H.
