FEDERAL ELETIONS.
MELBOURNE, Dec. 23. Mr Deakin, Federal Premier, commenting on the 'English criticisms regarding the election, says that the statement that the elections have gone against Mr Charabertain's policy is erroneous. His policy was Bupported by the Ministerial party, and a large uiajorory of the Labour party, and an influential minority of the Opposition. The criticisms showed that there was scope for the education of the leading English papers on the question of Australian politics.
