Scalded to Death.
—-*.. FEARFUL FATALITY. (Per Press Association.) itecttived 10, 10.18 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 10: A serious accident occurred aboard the steamer lnnamincka. A donkey boiler was in use discharging cargo while the main boilers in dose proximity were being cleaned. The tube of the donkey burst I'd ling the stokehold with steam. All the cleaners excepting a iireman named Richard Clille, \rtio was in the main boiler, got. out. Cl'ilTo was scalded to death! l'v.o other liremen, Cairns and Ragan, were badly scalded and sent to Ihe hospital.

At Ihe inquest on the Innaiiiincka. accident the engineers gave evidence that tho donkey tubes were cleaned during the morning, and were apparently in good order. Tho boiler was twelve yours old and was only used at long intervals. After the explosion it was found that there was a hole in tlae boiler near one of the tubes.
